Who we write for

TipParents is written for adults — parents, expecting parents, grandparents, guardians, and caregivers. We aim to be genuinely useful and practical, the way a trustworthy family publication should be, not to fill pages or chase clicks.

How content is created

Our tools and guides are written and edited by the TipParents editorial team. Every tool is built to do a real job — produce a routine chart, a chore chart, a budget, a packing list — and every guide is structured around clear, step-by-step advice with practical examples and the common mistakes to avoid.

Honesty about sources and claims

• We do not invent studies, experts, organizations, statistics, or quotations. If we can't stand behind a figure, we don't publish it.
• Our calculators use transparent, editable assumptions — never fake “national averages” presented as fact. The numbers you see come from your own inputs.
• For baby names, we omit or clearly qualify meanings rather than invent them, because name meanings online are frequently unreliable.

What we don't do

We don't diagnose or treat anything. Our content is not medical, psychological, child-development, legal, financial, educational, or safety advice, and our quizzes are educational activities — not professional inspections or assessments. Where a decision matters, we point you toward a qualified professional.

Review and updates

Tools and guides carry a “last reviewed” or “updated” date so you can see how current they are. We revisit content periodically and when something changes, and we correct errors promptly when they're pointed out.

Independence from advertising

Advertising, when shown, helps keep the site free — but it never shapes our recommendations. Ads are clearly labeled and kept separate from our tools and content, and never appear inside a printable page. Our editorial choices are made independently of any advertiser.
