We built TipParents to be useful without being nosy. Here's how we handle data.

For the publisher
Tool, calculator, and quiz inputs. These stay in your browser so the tools can compute a result. We don't collect or store them. Some tools save your progress or preferences locally on your device (using your browser's storage) purely so a refresh doesn't lose your work. A “clear all saved data” control is provided where tools save state.
Names and family details. Optional display names, middle names, and surnames you enter (for example in the routine builders or baby-name tools) are processed only in your browser. They are never transmitted to analytics, placed in a URL, or stored on our servers.
Campaign parameters (UTM).If you arrive from a link with UTM tags, we keep them for your browsing session so we can understand which campaigns are helpful. They're stored only in your browser's session storage and are never combined with your inputs or placed alongside sensitive data.
Contact form. If you use our contact form, you choose what to share. In this version the form does not transmit or store your message until a form provider is connected (see the contact page).
By design, the tools do not ask for — and we do not store — a child's exact birthdate, health conditions, medication information, school names, home address, passport or identification numbers, or photographs. Analytics may record that a tool was used, but never the values you entered, quiz answers, budgets, schedules, custom text, baby-name surnames, or food exclusions.
TipParents is intended for adults (18+) and is directed to parents and caregivers, not to children. We do not create child accounts or profiles, offer social or messaging features, or knowingly collect personal information from children. The tools are designed for a parent to use and print for home use.
Essentialstorage makes the site work (for example, remembering your cookie choice). It's always on. Optionalcategories — analytics and advertising — are off until you allow them. We don't load third-party analytics or advertising scripts without your consent.
If enabled by the site operator and permitted by your consent, we may use analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand which tools are useful, and advertising partners (such as Google AdSense or social pixels) to support the site. Those providers may set their own cookies and process data under their own policies. You can withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal stops future loading, and already-loaded scripts are cleared on your next visit.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the “last updated” date above when we do.
