We all want to be the best parents we can be for our children, but there is often conflicting advice on how to raise a confident, kind and successful child.

Every day is different with children at home and throughout their upbringing, it is important that parents focus on balancing priorities, responsibilities and quickly switching between the needs of the children, other family members and of course the themselves.

But how will parents be able to balance all of the above? How will they manage to properly educate their children?

The good news is that there is no right or wrong way for a parent to raise their child. According to research, to raise a self-reliant child with high self-esteem, it is more effective to be a supportive than an authoritarian parent. You want your child to listen to you, respect you and trust you instead of fearing you. And you will only succeed in this if you are a parent who puts limits and freedom together.
