You may not use it correction fluid as often as tape which is more practical, especially for children, however it is an effective way to cover up mistakes on paper surfaces.

But what happens if a plank falls on your or the child’s clothing? How do you remove the stain immediately?

Stain removal from blanks

If a drop of correction fluid gets on your clothes, do not rub the stain as it will further penetrate the fibers of the garment.

What you should do:

  • If the blank has dried, which is very likely if the stain was created at school, try to remove as much as you can with a knife or credit card.
  • Pour some rubbing alcohol or white vinegar on a clean cloth and dab the stain. Gently rub the stain from the outside to the inside.
  • Press the clean cloth against the stain so that the vinegar or alcohol penetrates the fibers of the garment and breaks down the blank.
  • Then rinse the stain thoroughly with plenty of cold water.
  • Use a clean toothbrush to brush away any remaining correction fluid.
  • Wash the garment in the dishwasher at the temperature indicated on the label.
